This year's symposium will have all eyes toward the stage during each of the five sessions but the research findings will not stop at the end of each session. During the symposium's breaks and reception in the ChampionsGate Room, CPS will showcase twenty-two CPS funded research posters and five research posters from the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. Posters have been specifically designed for the produce industry participants. Each 28" x 36" poster will highlight the purpose, approach and current findings of the project. Scientists will be on hand to answer questions about the projects and engage with industry participants for their thoughts about the research.

Tim York, president of Markon Cooperative and chair of the CPS Advisory Board stated, "The Center for Produce Safety was founded on partnerships and collaboration.  We are proud to share CPS and FDA CFSAN research at the poster session. This will be a day for all of those with a commitment to produce food safety and sound science to come together and learn from each other."
