CPS is a diverse community

Enhancing fresh produce food safety begins with open, honest conversations—and having the right people at the table. CPS fosters a safe space for diverse produce safety stakeholders to engage in meaningful two-way dialogues, including:

  • The fresh produce supply chain: from growers to processors, retailers, and foodservice
  • Regulators: state and national, U.S. and Canada
  • Public health agencies
  • Research scientists and extension

Our work is driven by volunteers

CPS can fuel change in produce safety because countless volunteers generously donate their time and expertise. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors, Technical Committee, research proposal reviewers, and research collaborators are vital to our success.
