Campaign for Produce Safety - Funding Science, Finding Solutions

The Center for Produce Safety has awarded well over $18 million and supported more than 100 research projects since its founding in 2007.

Results of that research have yielded practical answers to critical questions surrounding food safety practices in fruit, vegetable and tree nut production.

But more must be done. That’s why the Center for Produce Safety has launched The Campaign for Produce Safety. Our goal is to secure $20 million over a five-year period.

Your generous support will position CPS by the end of the decade to:

  • Double the output of industry-focused food safety research.
  • Broaden the scope of that research geographically and throughout the supply chain.
  • Advance educational initiatives to further translate research findings into quick action.

When you give to the Campaign for Produce Safety, you invest in the businesses we run and the families we serve - our own loved ones among them.

CPS thanks all of its Campaign for Produce Safety contributors – some of whom initially supported CPS at its inception. These companies are noted with an asterisk beside their logo in the listing to the right. In addition, CPS would like to extend a very special thank you to those who underwrite our administrative costs so the funds we raise can go towards produce research - including the Produce Marketing Association.
