Symposium coordinators are getting the word out that Session V of the CPS Produce Research Symposium will provide perspective and create conversation about the “big research picture.”

Mike Stuart, president of the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association and moderator for Session V, will engage federal and state regulatory officials and industry executives on the day’s learnings, how research can shape rules and guidelines for food safety regulation, and what can be learned from foodborne outbreaks.

“Session V looks to be a thought provoking discussion,” stated Bonnie Fernandez-Fenaroli, executive director of the Center for Produce Safety. “It is important to talk about the broad use of the research findings.”
